When creating an image the program usually uses the volume shadow copy service (VSS) to get a consistent image of a partition on the fly.
This error means that either VSS or COM+ has failed. Make sure that COM+ is configured properly. If necessary, reinstall COM+. Restart the VSS service (or reboot the machine) and try the operation again.
