Is it possible to store an image to a bootable USB memory stick?

To store disk images on USB media, we recommend you to format your USB stick to NTFS or exFAT. In this case you have all available USB disk’s space to store disk images.

Old style USB sticks (smaller capacities, 4GB and less) usually formatted by manufacturers to FAT32. There is a limitation of a maximum 4GB file size limit under FAT32. There are two ways to address this issue when storing large image files (where the total image size is beyond 4GB):
